What do these terms have in common: “monkey,” “abc123,” and “letmein”?

If you guessed that they are all in the top 10 worst passwords of 2011, you’re right! SplashData recently released a list of the 25 worst passwords of 2011, highlighting some big “don’ts” in creating digital accounts. It is important to keep in mind that every time you sign up for some sort of online account, you are creating a new piece of your “digital identity.” If you aren’t careful, your identity can be hacked and used for malicious purposes, including further ID theft.
